The only radio to cover the whole French Guyana territory, Radio Guyane is, for the Public Services, a successful example of modernity, at the disposal of a culturally diverse population. The challenge was made possible thanks to new technologies and also to the priority given to languages and cultures. The radio strategy has the support of the listeners — 51 % ratings — and opens up the medium to new development prospects. These prospects will therefore help Radio Guyane stick a little more to local changes, while being open to the world.
