Fifty-five general practitioners in Savoy and Isère answered a questionnaire on six end-of-life clinical situations. The objective of the investigation was to take a sort of snapshot of their medical practice. The end-of-life situation raises ethical questions, particularly concerning the patient’s autonomy. This proceeds from preliminary information given to all patients, regardless of their age or pathology.
