Faced with the industrial decline in Romans-sur-Isère in the late 1980s, collective initiatives emerged around the historic culture that based on the social economy and self-organization. They have been grafted onto other public policies, at both conurbation and national level. To document this idea of linking scales, we propose to build bridges between the macroeconomic model and the territorial and organizational model. We would like to further explore the link between the scale of the experiment (organizational) and other scales (territorial and conurbation) in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the driving forces behind this modelling and its connection to the socio-economic transition. One of the objectives is to identify the drivers of territorial value creation. JEL Codes : R11, R12, O14

Face au déclin industriel, à Romans-sur-Isère, à la fin des années 1980, des initiatives collectives ont émergé autour de la culture historique fondée sur l’Économie Sociale et Solidaire (ESS) et l’auto-organisation. Elles se sont greffées à d’autres politiques publiques à l’échelle de l’agglomération et à l’échelle nationale. Ce travail propose, à la suite d’autres publications, de documenter cette idée d’articulation des échelles, pour jeter des ponts entre le modèle macroéconomique et le modèle territorial et organisationnel. Nous souhaiterions explorer plus avant le lien entre l’échelle de l’expérimentation (organisationnelle) et les autres échelles (territoriale et de l’agglomération) de manière à mieux comprendre les ressorts de la construction de ce modèle, et son lien avec la transition socio-économique. Un des objectifs est d’identifier les ressorts de la création de valeur territoriale.
