These Arabic-speaking Evangelical Christians try to construct a place for themselves as cultural brokers in the intensification and densification of global interactions, through which the symbolic boundaries, between a world thought of as “Western,” both Christian and secular, and a world thought of as “Oriental” and “Arab-Muslim,” are constituted and reinforced.
