The narcissism of children: Necessary illusion or inevitable imposture
Type de matériel :

Designed in the context of a theoretical dispute with two of his closest disciples, Adler and Jung, the concept of narcissism bears the mark of the psychic injury experienced by Freud on this occasion. To what extent is it the expression of the illusion of a lost unity, and even the assertion of a unity that has never occurred? The narcissism of the child or the parents’ narcissism projected onto the child would then play the same role of illusion of a unity of the ego masking its inevitable splitting.
