Nanotechnology is a booming sector. Developed from the mid-twentieth century onward, it has been booming for the past twenty years. However, the development of nanotechnologies needs to be accompanied by a more practical approach focused on monitoring and controlling information flows, with a scale of participation ranging from data provision to decision-making.
