Writing about internship activities during a work-study program: A process of raising awareness and developing professional positioning

Professional positioning is examined here as an identity-based, positional, and transactional process. Based on an analysis of a corpus of student papers written in 2022 and 2023, we aim to understand how this written feedback on internship experiences helps students construct their professional positioning. We show that formalizing one’s professional positioning is an evolving process, whose dynamics reveal potential for personal and professional growth.
