Measuring the effects of using a digital tool on the experience of visiting a museum

A quantitative survey of 916 visitors to a French museum has measured the experiential benefits of using an interactive tool in a museum context. The empirical analysis enabled us to see whether the experience differs depending on whether or not a digital mediation tool is used, and also depending on its nature (mobile or fixed) and on the functional and hedonistic dimensions of the user experience.
