Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : During the twentieth century, the development of the agricultural revolution and of the green revolution drove the explosion of inequalities in production per worker and per year between the different agricultures of the world. This development also led to a long-term fall in real agricultural prices as well as surpluses, the latter of which led to production being dumped on international markets. In most countries, the tendency to bring agricultural prices close to international prices is blocking development and is impoverishing, even ruining hundreds of million of poorly equipped and under-productive farmers. To save these farmers, spur a sustainable rise in world agricultural production, and stimulate global demand, it is necessary to promote a new organization to oversee international agricultural trade.
