A comparative study of the French and Spanish administrations in colonial Morocco (1912-1936)

In 1912, the Sharifian Empire came under the tutelage of France and Spain. The documents establishing the protectorates specified that both imperial powers could introduce all necessary administrative reforms to maintain order. This article aims to study the administrative structures, personnel, and policies in order to analyze whether different colonial powers had the same practices on the same territory.
