This article provides a synthetic mapping of the different meanings of the concepts of politicization and depoliticization by choosing to focus on their specific discursive dimension. Two main approaches to the discursive politicization are analyzed: politicization as characterization-specialization in which discourse is politicized when its content or context relates to the political field and politicization as political enunciation, characterized by recognition of differences, even dissensus, and generalization.
