Dans l’ère culturelle Aja Fɔn au Bénin, le rituel traditionnel de réconciliation du «Sin Tun Tun» est d’usage courant pour traiter le «FiɔFiɔ» ; troubles physiques et psychologiques du nouveau-né ou du nourrisson pris dans la tourmente conflictuelle des parents géniteurs. Il est également exécuté pour traiter les transactions discordantes entre les individus au sein de la communauté. Son recours populaire pour réconcilier les personnes en conflit a inspiré son adaptation à la préparation de sortie du malade à la fin de sa cure dans le service de psychiatrie du Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Départemental du Borgou (CHUD/B) à Parakou au Bénin et au Centre National Hospitalier Universitaire de Psychiatrie (CNHUP) Cotonou, Bénin. L’objectif de ce travail était de présenter le cadre traditionnel du «Sin Tun Tun» inspirant les temps forts de la préparation de sortie du malade.

In cultural era “Aja Fɔn” in Benin, the traditional ritual of reconciliation “Sin Tun Tun” is commonly used to treat “FiɔFiɔ” ; physical and psychological disorders of the newborn or infant burnt by biological parents conflict. It is also performed to treat discordant transactions between individuals within the community. Its popular use to reconcile people in conflict inspired its adaptation to patient discharge planning at the end of his treatment in the psychiatric ward of the University Departmental Hospital of Borgou (CHUD / B) in Parakou in Benin and in University National Hospital Centre of Psychiatry (CNHUP) Cotonou, Benin. The objective of this work was to present the traditional setting of “Sin Tun Tun” inspiring highlights of patient hospital discharge preparation.
