To Come Out Right: New Management Rules in Psychiatry and Their Clinical Effects
Type de matériel :

The new laws governing psychiatric resources are changing the rules and give the clinician new constraints. These transform ways for receiving suffering subjects and require new psychosocial games. In the psychiatric hospital, the management model strengthens the shift from a subversive position to a moral direction of the users’ care. This new direction is meant to organize and define a social precariousness that both troubles and serves this system. Based on examples of this process’s methods and purposes and a discussion of the ethical concern that serves as the basis of the clinic as a place of inter-subjective exchange, this paper attempts to demonstrate how psychiatric actors in the present public system can continue to be the spokesmen of the fundamental link between private madness and social madness.
