The Israel-Palestine Conflict: Dialogue in a History of Animosity
Type de matériel :

This paper reviews the studies conducted over several years that aim to facilitate dialogue between members of communities that have a history of animosity, specifically the Israelis and the Palestinians. These studies—in the form of interviews or groups exchanging life stories—illustrate the difficulties of imposing political and social change from the top down without any accompanying psychological work, which, in Israeli society, has led to the deconstruction of a defensive collective identity. Despite the difficulties these studies highlight, they present hope for resolving even the most profound conflicts.
