The Psychological and the Institutional: A Sociopsychoanalytical Intervention in a Pediatric Practice
Type de matériel :

The sociopsychoanalytic intervention discussed here is based on Gérard Mendel’s theoretical approach to organizations, which his team implemented for more than 30 years in diverse organizations. Its one-year implementation in a pediatric department, provides an illustration of the conceptual, methodological, and practical bases of this theory. During its implementation in this setting, the staff was divided into groups according to profession and hierarchical level. They only expressed their viewpoints on their work in written reports. The main aim of this intervention was to differentiate and compare the psychological dimension of each staff member (the emotional dimension being particularly strong among child therapists), as well as the institutional dimension, which plays a structuring role in all professional situations.
