This paper addresses the dependency link and the image of evil and the link to the addictive object in the construction of sensorial experience. Based on clinical work that may be called extreme and singular in the prison setting, this paper studies, through the notion of addiction, the role and function of the addictive object in the masochistic dimension of the psychic economy. Using projective methods, (Rorschach and TAT), this paper undertakes three levels of analysis.
