Promoting the evolution of perinatal practices toward an objective of early prevention of disorders in the development of the child, which involves the somatic, social, and psychiatric disciplines, is now the subject of a scientific consensus. It remains for each field, according to the professional context and care devices, to initiate a collective dynamic, subject to the initiative of sensitized field actors. Indeed, the spirit of coordinated perinatal support need not necessarily be changed from the outside. It is a question of describing an evolution over seven years, at each step, and in its impacts on care organizations. The improvement of interdisciplinary collaborations, with a view to developing a common culture, is the result of specific pedagogical actions, which have proved their worth, and of interprofessional meetings supported in France by a policy of regional perinatal networks. The awareness of caregivers and the confidence created in pregnancy with vulnerable parents promotes the establishment of early care for the baby. The creation of an ambulatory care device is the result of collective reflection.
