This empirical contribution deals with the “educational relationship” and finds as a field of investigation the support activities of a social work assistant practicing in an emerging professional training center. The inductive qualitative inquiry approach aims to explore the dynamic properties of the relationship between the professional and two learners, and to identify potential educational effects. The pathway to the study’s interim results is based on an anthropological and biographical analysis of the data.
