Improving the professional integration of novice teachers by developing a positive professional identity based on the psychopedagogy of well-being

This article presents the preliminary results of a study that aimed to document the journey of novice preschool and elementary teachers in order to understand the evolution of their identity development and establish their profile, taking well-being into account in order to promote their perseverance and improve their professional integration. Based on the principles of a new field in education science, the psychopedagogy of well-being, the study of the elements of well-being and character strengths in novices will make it possible to explore how an approach focused on the development of their full potential during support sessions can help them develop a positive professional identity, in order to face the multiple challenges of the profession.
