This article is the result of an action-research project in the context of priority education in a medium-sized French town. The aim is to provide a better understanding of special educators working in priority neighborhoods. Through a focus group with four specialized educators, our results highlight the meaning that these educators give to the educational relationship, by linking the recognition of existing resources on which they rely in their work, and the awareness of collaborative issues with other professions. This research confirms the results of previous research on the issue of partnership work, but provides a new context for analysis.
