Challenges for universities regarding social entrepreneurship: Reflections from an action research project
Type de matériel :
59
Through reflections on an action research project carried out by students and professors with the aim of promoting social entrepreneurship in a neighborhood of the city of Celaya, three recurrent challenges have been identified for training in universities: a) the development of actionable theories, b) complexity, system dynamics, and their derivative effects in action, and c) the epistemology of reality construction. These challenges invite participants to get involved in social entrepreneurship, not only on a theoretical level but also practically. Although this does not directly produce social entrepreneurs in itself, it helps to raise awareness of the social dimension and to develop entrepreneurship projects.
