Type de matériel :
33
The concept of the ingenium is invoked to question the relationship between science and design. The concept of the ingenium, one of whose principles is that of “distinguishing to connect,” makes it possible to categorize which parts of Design Science stem from research and which stem from design and production. This article takes a dialogical approach to theory and proposes a definition of the ingenium for the field of information systems. Finally, this distinction in Design Science invites any researchers to determine their stance and practices in any given intervention.
