The development of new technologies and the resultant easy access to the Internet for a large proportion of the population has profoundly changed the international gambling market (Gaming), which has led to an increase in gambling practices. To protect the most vulnerable gamblers, more online gambling operators are putting in place risk reduction tools, such as self-limitation or temporary self-exclusion. These moderators are intended to prevent the development and maintenance of problematic gambling behavior online. The objective of our study was to conduct a systematic review of the scientific literature in order to evaluate the effectiveness of risk reduction tools offered by some Internet gambling operators at the international level. Nine scientific publications corresponding to our selection criteria were selected. Only three types of responsible gambling tools on the Internet have been identified in the selected studies. The results obtained make it possible to make an inventory of the moderators whose effectiveness is scientifically validated and to make recommendations about the policies of reduction of the risks posed to gamblers on the Internet.
