Entrepreneurial orientation within non-profit organizations: A key driver of social performance and resilience in times of crisis

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2026. Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : The aim of this research is to study the importance of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) in non-profit organizations. The framework relies on EO’s classical dimensions such as innovation, proactivity and risk-taking, while considering recent dimensions of social practices such as reciprocity, collaboration and socialness, and is enriched by the entrepreneurial attitude of leaders and the role of the environment. This research relies on a qualitative methodology that includes participant observations, data analysis and semi-structured interviews. The expected results show that EO is a strategic factor which enhances social performance and resilience within non-profit organizations. The study concludes with a suggested theoretical framework for EO in a social perspective by including the social dimensions and offers future perspectives to strengthen the analysis of entrepreneurship within a purely social context.
