Intra-organizational mobility in practice within two public companies: a dyadic relationship between ends and means

This study focuses on the relationships that are maintained by French public companies between the purposes and the means that they implement in the context of their Human Resource Management policy. More specifically, it focuses on the internal mobility policy of two large public companies (EDF and SNCF) through a qualitative research conducted amongst the employees of these companies. The results show that even though the objectives pursued are often virtuous, the means implemented reveal rather disappointing results.
