Social entrepreneurship and social enterprise have positioned quickly in literature and administrative practices for their ability to integrate the generation of social value. This is revealed in the attention to social and/or environmental problems, and economic value, exhibited in the production of goods and services which are positioned in domestic and international markets. The characteristics of such entrepreneurs and enterprises situate them as promotion strategies and implementation of local development, which have different types of scope and limitations according to the approach under which they are built.
