Firstly, the two scales used in this study were subjected to a second order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) through the method of maximum likelihood, having both reliability and validity. The results obtained through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) from a sample of 288 industrial MSMEs allow us to infer that there is sufficient empirical evidence that the use of ICTs has a positive and significant influence in the innovation of these kinds of Firms.
