Legitimacy and winning back members through cooperative banks

Through the textual analysis of Banques populaires (Popular Banks) websites, this study identifies the methods used by these banks to strengthen legitimacy in their discourse. This research contributes to strengthening the link between the legitimacy theory and the stakeholder theory, as well as to supplementing the work on cooperative bank governance.
