Many analyses of mental suffering at work have been provided over the last decade, in connection with anxiety raised by various suicidal crises. This article examines three concepts frequently used in these analyses: causal imputation, ethical suffering, and recognition. We suggest a method for ethical reduction that leads to an emphasis on an ethics of care, which seems itself necessary for an ethics of recognition.
