The Child As a Hypochondriac Organ of the Mother
Type de matériel :
43
The author relates the case of a baby suffering from serious anorexia from the first days of life, and tries to understand such early pathology following psychoanalytical psychotherapy conducted with the triad of the father, mother and baby which began when the baby was 11 months old and continued until he was 3 years and 3 months of age. Amongst the various hypotheses which this case evokes, the author retains the idea that a child can sometimes play the role of a hypochondriacal organ for the mother.
