The depletion of oil reserves and resulting geopolitical uncertainties, fluctuations, and price volatility have led since the 2000s to a development in which the economy favors nuclear energy for civilian use. Thus, the development of an international market for the nuclear industry is linked to the competitiveness of nuclear plants compared to their competitors using fossil fuels (oil, gas, coal). Nuclear power is a form of power that benefits the countries that use it (thanks to low emissions of greenhouse gases, low pollution, stable prices, and a competitive supply without major obstacles) but also a source of concern (absence of a solution to the waste issue, transfer risk from civilian use to nuclear weapons). Thus business intelligence (BI) is essential for companies in this industry and is based on urgent technical challenges. BI has become an imperative for companies in the energy sector.
