The aim of this article is to validate the Rosenberg self-esteem scale, based on scientific research conducted with 604 managers in a large French company. The concept of self-esteem has many applications in the field of management, especially in human resources. Our validation process was carried out as part of a broader research project on the hierarchical advancement of women executives (including managers). The results of the analysis—both exploratory and confirmatory—demonstrate a two- dimensional structure of the Rosenberg self-esteem scale.
