The aim of this article is to analyze women’s professional trajectories through intersectionality theory. Taking Morocco as a case study, we try to understand the potential relevance of intersectional analytical frameworks. Although in Morocco the legal and institutional arsenal supports women’s presence in the economic field, the rate of activity among women continues to drop, and there is a lack of understanding of women’s careers. Intersectional frameworks may indeed explain the multiple jeopardy to which women are subject—which traditional frameworks obscure—and shine new light on women’s professional trajectories.
