The manager’s entrepreneurial orientation as key to the speed of internationalization: The case of small Moroccan SMEs

This paper studies the international entrepreneurial orientation (IEO) of the company manager as a determinant of the speed of the internationalization process of small SMEs. Based on a sample of fifty-one managers of fast-growing, internationalizing companies and using the structural equation method, the results show that the manager’s IEO has an indirect impact on the speed of internationalization through the adoption of niche and networking strategies.
