An investigation of the validity of the job demands/resources scale in the Moroccan context

This paper’s aim is to present the results of validation analyses of a "job demands/resources" scale in the Moroccan context. To compensate for the lack of validation in this context, we surveyed workers (n=346) in seventy-two Moroccan organizations in a variety of industries. The evaluation of the psychometric properties of this tool resulted in seven reliable factors, grouped under two main factors backed by the job demands/resources theory. The results show acceptable reliability and are of capital interest for researchers and other stakeholders wanting to measure job characteristics in different organizational contexts.
