The Odyssey, or the Birth of Fiction
Type de matériel :

Homer presents his poetic activity in his Odyssey through two bards, Phemios and Demodokos, and through an exceptional storyteller, Ulysses. This gives rise to a new conception of poetry as a mixture of truths and falsehoods. Such a definition leads us, through a reflection on the concepts of verisimilitude and simulated world, to consider Homer’s poetry as a fictional narrative.
