The Laws of Street Children
Type de matériel :
45
Marie José Lallart explores the terrible exclusion of street children from Africa or elsewhere who are the victims of war and misery, but also the fearful and dehumanizing way the adult world views them. Based on field work, she shows the importance of playing and sports for those who are often called sorcerers or criminals and who wish to be acknowledged as people. For that to occur, governments will have to place a much stronger focus on children’s rights.
