The place of dialogue in NGO-company relations

This research questions the place of dialogue between NGOs and companies. The twenty-first century has marked a change in the relationship between these actors. For several years now, the non-governmental sphere and the business world have coexisted and even collaborated. The aim of this research is to characterize the dialogue, but also to visualize its place within the various interactions between NGOs and firms and to show its value for the partners. We also want to clarify the different relationships between NGOs and companies. Our empirical study draws on the verbatim reports of forty-four respondents: twenty NGOs and twenty-four companies. The results of our data collection were studied using NVivo 11 software. This article also clarifies the different relationships between NGOs and companies in a constantly evolving society.
