Le thème de la quête de l’identité, pour Harry Potter, préadolescent au début de la série, illustre, de manière approfondie et variée, des étapes vécues, dans le cours normal de la vie et, en particulier, au cours de l’adolescence. Deux exemples du travail de la métaphore sur ce thème sont détaillés : la recherche de la baguette magique et la cérémonie de Répartition qui oriente le héros en le nommant et lui donne un groupe d’appartenance. Deux autres exemples, dont les évocations pourraient être sources de développements importants, sont signalés. En rêve-éveillé, le travail de la métaphore s’exerce de manière isolée, au décours des échanges ou, dans une dimension plus globale et plus puissante, dans une construction dont l’ensemble se déploie, se ramifie et se gonfle de sens. Quelques exemples cliniques illustrent cette proposition. Cet appel à l’imaginaire, détour dans un premier mouvement, se révèle le creuset d’une conjugaison possible entre le Vivre, le Voir et le Verbe.

Two examples of the metaphoric work on this theme are told in details : the quest for the magic wand and the Repartition ceremony that orients the hero, naming him ang giving him a group. Two other examples, which evocations could be sources of further developments are given. In the awakened dream, the metaphoric work is practiced in an isolated manner, by means of a construction which ensemble is spreading out, branching out and inflates with meaning. A few clinical examples illustrate this proposal. This call to the imagery, detour in a first move, reveals itself the crucible of a possible confluence of the Living, the Seeing and the Wording.
