Attempt to interpret one of Grimm’s tale : Skin of a Thousand Creatures The first part of the article shows the underlying purpose of the tale, which is the heroin’s teenage years crossing. Every image of the tale is studied as a metaphoric step towards becoming a grown-up and meeting with the other. The second part tries to demonstrate the mechanisms implied when reading or listening to a tale, thus comparing the tale structure with the psychic structure. As a result, the major role of presentation is pointed out in the receipt as well as in the interpretation of tales.
