Artificial intelligence is increasingly used in the field of medicine as a diagnostic aid, particularly for image analysis and more generally for data processing. Many artificial intelligence-based tools have been specifically developed for clinical biology, but some more general ones can help to improve the dissemination of medical knowledge. To test whether and to what extent an automated conversation tool could answer questions on a clinical biology topic (i.e. prostate cancer biomarkers), we questioned ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence-powered model dedicated to optimize language models for dialogue. Then we analyzed its responses.

L’intelligence artificielle est de plus en plus utilisée dans le domaine de la médecine comme aide au diagnostic notamment dans l’analyse d’image et plus généralement dans le traitement des données. De nombreux outils sont développés en biologie médicale mais certains plus généralistes peuvent être une aide afin d’améliorer la diffusion de ‘information médicale. Afin de tester la capacité d’un outil de conversation automatisé à répondre à des questions sur un sujet de biologie médicale comme les biomarqueurs du cancer de la prostate nous avons interrogé ChatGPT une intelligence artificielle dédiée à l’optimisation des modèles de langage pour dialoguer et nous avons analysé ses réponses.
