The edition of this commentary is preceded by a historical and doctrinal introduction. It seems clear that this commentary is similar to the so-called « Averroistic commentaries », i.e. Parisian Ethics commentaries of the late 13th century. It is even more similar to the Ethics commentary by John of Tytynsale, an Oxford master of arts in the late 13th century. Based on a stylistic and doctrinal analysis as well as information regarding the manuscript itself, it could be argued that this anonymous work was composed between 1272 and 1295, and that it was likely written by a master of arts at the University of Oxford.Abrégé : Il codice Q. 13 della Biblioteca Capitolare di Worcester contiene un inedito commento anonimo al I Libro dell’ Etica Nicomachea. L’edizione è preceduta da un’introduzione storica e dottrinale. Il commento è da mettere in relazione con i cosiddetti commenti « averroistici », cioè i commenti parigini sull’ Etica della seconda metà del XIII secolo, e sopratutto con il commento sull’ Etica di Giovanni di Tytynsale, maestro alla Facoltà delle Arti di Oxford nella seconda metà del XIII secolo. In base alle somiglianze stilistiche-dottrinali, e alle caratteristiche del codice, è possibile collocare la redazione del commento in un lasso di tempo compreso tra il 1272 e il 1295, per mano di un maestro della Facoltà delle Arti di Oxford.
