RésuméCet article envisage les enjeux thérapeutiques d’un groupe d’écriture en prison, à partir d’une double perspective : la spécificité des pathologies de l’agir, et la prise en compte des défenses mises en place par des sujets confrontés à une situation extrême, la vie en prison. L’écriture thérapeutique en groupe vise, notamment par le recours à la fiction, à activer la figuration de pensées ou d’états affectifs peu accessibles au sujet, qui renvoient souvent à une partie de la vie psychique clivée, à la source des mises en acte de tensions insupportables et infigurables. L’enjeu du travail thérapeutique visera une élaboration de l’agir, par une résistance à la destructivité, par une mise en sens des passages par l’acte au sein du groupe et par l’activation d’une capacité d’empathie avec l’autre, dans la dynamique transférentielle du groupe.Enfin, le travail thérapeutique de groupe s’effectue à partir de la fantasmatique inconsciente du groupe, qui apparaît, dans les groupes en prison, centrée autour d’organisateurs psychiques inconscients récurrents, tels l’opposition entre toute puissance et effondrement, décrite par Balier, la prédominance d’un fantasme de retrouvailles narcissiques primaires, accompagné d’un processus d’exclusion de l’objet ou l’appel à la figuration d’angoisses primitives catastrophiques irreprésentables, de l’ordre des « agonies primitives ».

A therapeutic writing group in prison and the development of behaviourThis paper considers the therapeutic issues of a prison writing group from a dual perspective: the specificities of the pathologies of behaviour and the consideration of defence mechanisms elaborated by subjects facing a most difficult situation, that is : life in prison.The therapeutic group writing aims, notably through the use of fiction, to activate the representation of thoughts or emotional states, rarely perceptible by the subject, often reflecting, in part, the psychological split in the subject’s life. It also reflects the source of the creation of unbearable and unrepresentational tensions. The focus of the therapeutic work will be to aim at the development of behaviour by resisting destructivity and, through meaning being given to the transition to action within the group, and by activating the capacity to empathize with others, in the transferential group dynamic.Finally, the group therapeutic work begins with the group’s unconscious phantasm, which appears in prison groups centred around recurrent unconscious psychic organizers, such as the opposition between strength and collapse, described by Balier, the predominance of a fantasy of a primary narcisstic renewal, accompanied by a process of exclusion of an object or the resort to the representation of catastrophic unrepresentational primitive anguish, of the order of “primitive agonies”.
