L’exil dont il est question ici est celui où nous mettent les conditions de notre travail clinique, notre rapport avec la tradition chrétienne, et avec l’orthodoxie freudienne. Et il est surtout plus intime : dans le transfert, et par les rapports du moi au soi et du soi au moi. Sont ensuite traitées différentes tentatives de réponse : par la « participation mystique », la « commune inconscience », la synchronicité, le rêve de participer à quelque société d’« initiés », à un mythe commun, à une même conception du monde. Enfin le religere de Jung conduit à s’interroger sur les exigences et les limites de notre démarche d’individuation.

The exile discussed here is the one we face as a result of our clinical working conditions and our relationships with Christian tradition and with Freudian orthodoxy. Moreover, it especially involves the intimate: in transference, and via the relationships between the ego and the self and the self and the ego. Various responses to this exile are discussed: «mystical participation», the «communal unconscious», synchronicity, the dream of participating in a community of initiates, in a shared myth, a single conception of the world. Lastly, Jung’s religere leads us to wonder about the demands and limits of our individuation process.
