À travers une relecture du mythe et du complexe d’Œdipe, j’interroge le complexe contre-œdipien parental à l’œuvre dans certaines configurations familiales et les effets de projections qu’il peut induire à l’intérieur d’une inversion générationnelle massive. J’en dégage le statut de ce que je nomme l’enfant terrifiant en lien, bien que différencié, avec l’enfant maltraité et avec l’enfant incesté. Ceci, sous l’éclairage clinique d’un travail psychothérapeutique avec un enfant accompagné jusqu’à son entrée dans l’adolescence.

Based on a reinterpretation of the Oedipus myth and complex, I examine the parental counter-Oedipus at work in certain family situations, and the effects of the projections it may induce within a massive generational inversion. I point out the status of what I call “the terrifying child”, linked to, although differentiated from, the mistreated child and the incested child, informed by a clinical case study of psychotherapeutic work with a child I accompanied until his adolescence.
