RésuméPour Freud, la pulsion tourne autour de l’objet et une représentation s’inscrit dans l’appareil psychique selon deux modalités, les représentants de choses et les représentants de mots. Ceux-ci vont être profondément affectés lorsque survient un trauma, en particulier lorsque l’appareil psychique est en cours de construction, c’est-à-dire pour les enfants d’âge pré-œdipien. À partir de trois vignettes cliniques témoignant de trauma seront abordés les effets d’effondrement dans la chaîne représentative, l’impossibilité pour l’enfant de mettre en place des représentations de l’absence, et enfin la disjonction entre le perceptif et le subjectif. Ensuite seront étudiés les processus de réparation susceptibles d’être relancés par le moteur transférentiel. En effet, dans les psychothérapies, du fait de l’ouverture au champ de l’Autre, le désir va être mobilisé ainsi que la capacité de spécularisation du sujet. Et ce qui est spécularisable peut être parlé. C’est comme si, alors, l’élaboration engageait un travail de libération de l’affect d’angoisse qui pèse sur les représentations proches de celles afférentes au trauma.
