Cet article envisage l’improvisation à partir des dessins spontanés de Marion Milner, qui fournissent la matière principale de son livre Rêver, peindre. Il interroge en particulier le mouvement spontané de la main, en tant que celui-ci crée des formes vivantes. Pour cela, il considère le champ de la phénoménologie, et formule l’hypothèse du pathique, telle qu’elle est introduite par Erwin Straus et reprise par Frédéric Buytendijk. Il se propose d’être une contribution à une réflexion sur le « playing », à la croisée de la psychanalyse et de la phénoménologie.
