Cet article invite à découvrir l’œuvre graphique et picturale de Ceija Stojka. Son travail est tout d’abord un témoignage sur sa propre expérience dans les camps de concentration et le génocide des Roms et Sintis. Il présente, en outre, des spécificités attestant d’une part, d’une relation archaïque réussie, d’autre part, d’un parcours d’individuation que signe le processus qui se manifeste dans l’acte de création. Le recours à certaines images archétypiques est également étudié.

This article invites us to discover the drawings and paintings of Ceija Stojka. The central theme of her work is the genocide of Romini and Sinti people and her first-person account of life in the concentration camps. Moreover, the work presents specificities that attest, on the one hand, to a successful archaic relationship, and on the other, to an individuation journey acknowledging the process manifested by the act of creation. Stojka’s use of certain archetypal images is also studied.
