L’émergence de pratiques émancipatrices et alternatives, fondées sur une pensée du transfert et de l’institution, engage la production d’un imaginaire social radical nourrissant de possibles réinventions démocratiques. Davantage que la démocratie interne à nos institutions, je m’interrogerai donc ici sur les effets de nos pratiques institutionnelles sur le champ social et sur la condition culturelle commune lorsque ceux-ci sont structurés par la rationalité néolibérale. Je m’appuierai pour cela sur le concept de praxis instituantes en décrivant l’exemple clinique d’un dispositif qui croise des pratiques de psychothérapie institutionnelle dans un secteur de psychiatrie adulte et de pédagogie institutionnelle dans une université.

The emergence of emancipating and alternative practices, based on theoretical considerations concerning the transference and the institution, involves the production of a radical social imaginary of possible democratic reinventions. Rather than looking at democracy within our institutions, I will therefore be examining here the effects of our institutional practices on the social field and on the common cultural condition when these are structured by neoliberal rationality. To do this I will draw on the concept of instituting practice by describing the clinical example of a setting that combines practices of institutional psychotherapy in a sector of adult psychiatry and institutional pedagogy in a university.
