L’auteure propose de discuter la clinique d’un cas de décompensation par épuisement professionnel d’une femme très engagée dans son travail. Cette décompensation viendra raviver le souvenir douloureux d’un parcours de procréation médicalement assisté qui permettra de nous interroger sur l’étrange voisinage qui se dévoile entre hyperactivité et infécondité. Deux contextes d’écrasement de la subjectivité qui nous permettront de convoquer alors la question de l’engagement du corps dans l’équation étiologique et dans le travail de la pensée face à l’énigme de l’échec.

The Contribution of the Psychodynamic Approach to Work in the Clinical Treatment of Infertility. This paper examines the clinical case of a woman who had suffered a burnout at work, reawakening the painful memory of fertility treatment she had previously undergone, and allowing us to examine the strange proximity thereby unveiled between hyperactivity and infertility. Both contexts involve a certain crushing of subjectivity, begging the question of the commitment of the body in the etiological equation and in the work accomplished by thought when faced with the enigma of failure.
